Active Sample Management from HAMILTON

By the recent acquisition of TekCel, HAMILTON broadened the product portfolio with systems for sample logistics. The new Active Sample Manager (asm) complements and ideally integrates with HAMILTON’s proven STAR line of liquid handling workstations.

The asmServer/Store system for secure compound management delivers huge advantages in flexibility, speed, throughput, ease of use and security of samples. It is compatible with all standard labware, including 0.5ml and 1.5ml microtubes. One module can hold up to 200.000 microtubes or 2.200 microtiter plates and as your library expands, you can add new asmStore modules; there is no need to purchase excess capacity toady based on estimates of your requirements tomorrow.

The asmStore/Server features integrated active thaw, handoff to a Microlab STAR line liquid handling workstation, and integrated 1D and 2D barcode reading.
