Advanced Automated Wet Chemistry and Network-Ready At-Line Analyzers to be Showcased by AMS Alliance and Unity Scientific at Pittcon 2019
21 Mar 2019AMS Alliance and Unity Scientific, both KPM Analytics companies, showcase their advanced analyzer solutions for environmental, agricultural and food applications at Pittcon 2019, Booth #2041 in Philadelphia, PA, March 19 – 21, 2019. Whether the application is process or quality control, AMS and Unity Scientific analyzers can monitor and improve product quality, help maintain brand integrity, archive data, and reduce costs in dairy, beverage, cereal, milling, soil, water quality and agricultural applications.
Unity Scientific will debut the CommUnityTM Networking Suite, a cloud-based program for the remote management of SpectraStar NIR (Near Infrared) Analyzers. The CommUnity dashboard, available from any web browser, allows companies to centralize product configuration, streamline sample data reporting and view diagnostic results for all instruments on their network. The efficiency and consistency delivered by CommUnity enables companies to obtain maximum performance from their NIR analyzers, driving down production costs and improving product quality.
The SpectraStar XT At-line and Laboratory NIR Analyzer will also be presented at Pittcon 2019 and is fully compatible with CommUnity. A robust, easy-to-use NIR analyzer for both laboratory and at-line applications, the XT delivers the best performance for the food, agricultural and ingredient markets. And with patented TRUE ALIGNMENT® Spectroscopy technology, the XT automatically aligns the instrument to reference standards, keeping it in peak accuracy.
Measuring moisture, fat, protein, total sugar and other properties from samples at any stage of the process, the SpectraStar XT produces accurate, repeatable results in just 30 seconds. Available in ready-to-use analyzer packages for many applications, the XT is pre-configured with robust calibrations and sample handling accessories for plug and play operation. All SpectraStar XTs are manufactured at Unity Scientific’s global headquarters in Milford, MA USA.
AMS Alliance will be showcasing three recent innovations:
1) iCinac Wireless: This new, low-cost wireless solution monitors the acidifying activity of lactic ferments by continuous pH observation, and requires no data cables, making it easy to deploy and scale. Developed for the dairy industry, the flexible, modular & moveable system simplifies measurements using multi-parameter digital probes that simultaneously measure the pH, temperature and Redox potential of a sample on the same channel. Resulting data is analyzed in real time utilizing software installed on the customer's computer.
2) Smartchem 450 high versatility discrete analyzer: The new Smartchem 450 is a fully automated, direct read discrete analyzer that maximizes productivity for routine and special chemistries at a very low running cost. As our most versatile discrete analyzer, the Smartchem 450 provides multi-parameter analyses on a variety of samples – at up to 450 tests/hour. Ready-to-use reagents are also available, and the new software package makes it easy to set up chemistries and test parameters. Designed for the environmental, water and/or commercial laboratory markets, the Smartchem 450 is ideal for medium throughput analysis.
3) Futura 3 CFA analyzer: The Futura 3 is a new Continuous Flow Analyzer (UV-Vis spectrometer), with advanced technology for automated analyses, and can run multiple parameters simultaneously on up to 16 parallel channels. The Futura 3 offers a new analytical software package, modularity, and fully integrated automation technology. The Futura 3 is ideal for dedicated analysis of parameters in the environmental, water and beverage markets.
