Automated process monitoring via liquid chromatography (LC)

Monday, August 16, at 16:00 BST / 17:00 CEST / 11:00 EDT / 08:00 PDT

In this webinar, Dr. Daniel Kutscher, from Agilent Technologies, will present a newly developed online LC platform, which provides automated sample analysis via direct injections or retained samples from flow reactors, batch reactors, upstream bioreactors, and downstream purification devices.

Easy, rapid and direct analysis of challenging polar compounds

Wednesday, August 18, at 16:00 BST / 17:00 CEST / 11:00 EDT / 08:00 PDT

Connor Flannery, from Restek, will introduce a simpler approach to the retention and separation of these challenging compounds — a unique stationary phase specifically designed to selectively retain polar analytes. Flannery will highlight specific application examples that will illustrate the rapid and direct analysis of underivatized amino acids, ultrashort-chain PFASs, glyphosate, and other polar contaminants.

LC/MS to reveal the hidden post-translational modifications in neurodegeneration

Available to view on demand

Dr. Blaine Roberts, from Emory University, discusses the application of quantitative proteomics to a large set (~2,000 samples) of cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) samples to better understand the role of acute-phase proteins in Alzheimer’s disease. Roberts will also talk through a rapid 10-minute triple quad mass spectrometer method with heavy-labeled peptides that can provide in-depth information about the amount of targeted proteins in human CSF. Register to discover how the implementation of quantitative mass spectrometry and ion mobility reveal hidden biology and improve our understanding of a complex disease.

The power of (U)HPLC selectivity for diverse pharmaceutical methods

Available to view on demand

With so much attention paid over the years to column efficiency, it is important not to forget about the power of selectivity. In this webinar, Dr. Jason Anspach will cover the basics of chromatographic selectivity and provide you with a template to help you decide between fully porous or core-shell particles to get the most out of your pharmaceutical separations.

Optimize IP-RP method development for oligonucleotide analysis

Available to view on demand

Ensuring high-quality oligonucleotides for therapeutic applications relies on robust analytical methods. In this webinar, hear from principal scientist Dr. Brook Koshel as she discusses method development considerations when selecting an appropriate ion-pairing agent. She also shares tips and tricks for developing efficient methods for ion-pair reversed-phase (IP-RP) analysis of oligonucleotides.

Improving the sensitivity of LC-MS methods for characterization and quantitation of synthetic oligonucleotides

Available to view on demand

Join Brian Rivera, from Phenomenex, as he discusses how LC-MS sensitivity can be increased by mobile phase optimization and column selection. He also demonstrates how to minimize adduct formation and enhance ionization efficiency, which can in turn increase MS sensitivity for improved characterization and quantitation data.
