Integra Biosciences has announced that it will use the forthcoming ArabLab 2009 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai, UAE (10-13th January 2009) to showcase its comprehensive range of affordable, high quality liquid handling products.

Visitors to Stand 460, will have the chance to see and discuss liquid handling products including the lightweight PIPETBOY serological pipettor and the DOSE IT peristaltic pump. The DOSE IT peristaltic pump makes the dispensing of culture media, buffers and other solutions easy and efficient. An intuitive multilingual user interface, coupled with large ergonomically designed display and keypad, makes the DOSE IT extremely simple to program and operate. Providing high accuracy dispensing across a broad range of dose volumes (0.1 ml - 10 L) and flow rates (0.6 ml/min - 5L/ min) the versatility of the DOSE IT reduces the need for a laboratory to have several single-purpose pumps. For laboratories looking for safe, easy and rapid aspiration of biohazardous liquids technical staff will be on hand to demonstrate the popular VACUSAFE comfort system. Incorporating pump unit, waste collection bottle, tubing and VACUBOY hand operator in an all-in-one compact instrument, the VACUSAFE comfort is a highly safe aspiration system that readily fits below all commercially available laminar flow cabinets.

For hospitals and labs involved with quality control of foodstuff or water - the Petri dish pourer MEDIAJET and its TUBEFILLER accessory offer truly reliable automated preparation of microbiological media. The MEDIAJET vario enables automated filling of up to 540 Petri Dishes with standard diameter of 90 mm or of 60 or 35mm at the push of a button. The TUBEFILLER seamlessly expands the functionality of the MEDIAJET vario to provide continuous processing of test tube racks. For 16mm tubes, each filled with 10 ml of media, it takes less than 1 hour to fill 1000 tubes.
