Affordable microplate solvent evaporator

The MiniVap™ from Porvair Sciences Ltd. has been designed to enable researchers to remove the traditional laboratory 'bottleneck' of solvent evaporation from microplates prior to analysis or reconstitution in buffer.

The affordable MiniVap™ takes just minutes to dry down a plate, replacing traditional techniques that typically take hours to remove solvents from a 96-well microplate. Compact in design the MiniVap™ will fit into any standard fume cupboard. The MiniVap™ is purpose designed for use in research and development where low numbers of individual plates need drying.

The MiniVap™ is simple to install, operate and maintain. Installation just requires connection to a gas supply and standard mains socket. Safety of operation is ensured as the CE marked compact unit fits into all fume cupboards. The versatile MiniVap™ has been designed to accommodate any SBS/ANSI 96-well microplate.

Injecting heated nitrogen directly simultaneously into each of the 96 wells of the microplate enables the MiniVap™ to provide fast 'dry down' times.
