AgileBio brings back Dymo–LabCollector integration in partnership with GA International
Collaboration is working to improve tracking and labelling of samples
11 Jul 2025
Labeling is essential in laboratory operations. From frozen samples to daily experiments, collection of samples and shipping, printing labels directly from LabCollector makes the process faster and more reliable.
That’s why AgileBio, in collaboration with GA International, has announced the return of its integration between the all-in-one lab management system LabCollector and the Dymo® LabelWriter™ 550 thermal printer.
Whether it's a biobank labeling samples for long-term storage, a research lab tracking daily experiments, or a biotech startup preparing shipments, this labeling solution delivers reliability, precision, and efficiency for all types of use.
A practical labeling solution
With this new integration, LabCollector users can send print jobs directly to the Dymo® 550, taking advantage of:
- No external software
- Low maintenance, low complexity
- Direct thermal printing (no ink or toner required)
- Batch printing for tubes, racks, and more
- Fast printing and compact design that fits any lab bench
- Plug-and-play compatibility with Windows and macOS
- DYMO-Branded CryoSTUCK® Labels, designed for storage in liquid nitrogen, ultra-low temperature freezers, and transport on dry ice (min. –196°C/–321°F)
“Most LIMS forget that labeling is part of the real workflow, that’s why we are excited to bring back the Dymo integration with a modern, updated interface and hardware” – says Pierre Rodrigues, CEO of AgileBio.
