Edinburgh Instruments has launched Edinburgh Analytical, a new subdivision dedicated to delivering advanced analytical technologies tailored for industrial and research applications. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, reliability, and scientific excellence.
With over 50 years of expertise in spectroscopic instrumentation, Edinburgh Analytical enters the market with a focused portfolio of Fluorescence, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopic solutions. The brand made its official debut during the annual Edinburgh Instruments User Seminar, hosted by Techcomp in Qingdao, Hong Kong, and at the company’s Edinburgh headquarters.
A global launch with local impact
At the Edinburgh HQ, the Marketing team hosted a brand launch event to celebrate the introduction of Edinburgh Analytical to the global market. The new product line is designed with both industry and research in mind — compact benchtop solutions that integrate seamlessly into any laboratory environment.
The three products launching as part of the brand today are the DB30 – A UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, IA30 an FTIR Spectrometer and the FE30 a Fluorescence Spectrophotometer. These three instruments are powered by Edinburgh Instruments’ user-centric software suite, including: Visacle, Miracle and Spectacle. These platforms ensure intuitive operation, robust data analysis, and seamless integration into existing workflows.
The Edinburgh headquarters remains the central hub for research, development, and customer collaboration, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
“Our mission has always been to empower researchers and engineers with instruments that deliver accuracy, consistency, and insight,” said Roger Fenske, CEO of Edinburgh Analytical. “This next chapter in our journey is about combining our heritage of craftsmanship with the latest in analytical innovation for industry. Launching simultaneously in China and the UK was a joy to be part of.”
