AnaSpec is to provide MOG (35-55), mouse and rat, a peptide that induces severe chronic experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in transgenic mice.

The MOG (35-55) peptide from mouse and rat sequence has been shown to induce autoantibody production in 100% of C57BL/6 mice. This indicates anti-MOG (35-55) as the clear choice for in vivo anti-MOG (35-55) autoantibody study.

In addition to this peptide, AnaSpec also provides a large selection of MOG peptides of varied sequences and lengths, and MBP (myelin basic protein) and PLP (proteolipid proteins) peptides, two other potential primary encephalitogenic target antigens in multiple sclerosis.
