Anyone for a Benchtop Martini?

8 Jan 2007

Progen Scientific Ltd has recently introduced the exciting Martini Instruments benchtop pH meter to their ever increasing range of quality and value for money laboratory instruments.

Martini Mi 150 pH/ temperature bench meter
The Mi 150 is a new and advanced microprocessor based pH and temperature meter. It is ideally suited to laboratories requiring fast and reliable measurements and offers a series of diagnostic features adding a new dimension in dramatic improvement to reliability of results.

Features:

  • Automatic temperature control (ATC) for improved accuracy under fluctuating temperatures.
  • Large easy to read LCD display with calibration messages.
  • Large sealed and splash proof calibration pad with quick and easy push buttons.
  • 7 memorised buffers for easy calibration (pH 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01 & 12.45).
  • User selectable "time out" to prompt for new calibration.
  • Stability indicator prompts.
  • Extended temperature range (-20°C (4°F) to 120°C (248°F)) using the MA831R interchangeable temperature probe.

Martini Mi 151 pH/ ORP (mV) temperature bench meter
With similar specification to the martini Instruments Mi 150 the Mi151 has the ability to measure with ORP electrodes thanks to its capability to measure mV with a resolution up to 0.1mV.

Martini Mi 160 pH/ ORP (mV)/ ISE/ temperature bench meter
The Mi 160 pH / ORP (mV) / Temperature meter is ideal for very accurate and precise measurements for all laboratory needs. It can perform ion-selective measurements directly in ppm, as well as pH, ORP and temperature measurements. pH calibration can also be performed in 3 points, selectable between 7 memorised buffers, to provide a very accurate calibration curve even when testing different samples where very wide differences in pH can be found. Thanks to the memory it can store up to 50 data sets for each range that can be downloaded to a PC via RS232 or USB. These instruments also have GLP features so, at any time, the user can recall the calibration data.

  • pH calibration up to 3 points
  • 7 memorised buffers (pH 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01 and 12.45) for calibration
  • ISE calibration up to 2 points; 6 standard solutions available: 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10, 100, 1000ppm.
  • Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) for good accuracy under fluctuating temperatures
  • Relative mV function
  • Easy to read, large, custom LCD display
  • Large sealed and splash proof calibration pad with quick and easy push buttons.
  • Messages on the LCD to make the calibration easy and accurate
  • User-selectable 'time out' to prompt for a new calibration.
  • Stability Indicator prompts whenever reading stabilises.
  • Application software CD supplied.
  • GLP feature, to view last calibration data for pH or ISE.
  • Extended temperature range from -20oC (-4oF) to 120oC (248oF), using the MA831R interchangeable temperature probe.

The Mi 151 can also measure with ORP electrodes, thanks to its capability to measure mV with a resolution up to 0.1 mV. All three models are offered as extremely competitive prices making them highly desirable addition to any laboratory.
