Applied Cytometry, a leader in flow cytometry data analysis, is one of the key sponsors and exhibitors at this year’s UK National Stem Cell Network’s (UKNSCN) scientific annual conference. Now in its second year the conference, a celebration of the latest in UK stem cell science will take place on 6th – 8th April 2009 at the University of Oxford Examination Schools, Oxford, UK.

Applied Cytometry will showcase its latest version of its VenturiOne® v3 flow cytometry data analysis software at the two-day event. The software can analyse up to 400 files concurrently in less than ten seconds. In addition to this rapid batch analysis, VenturiOne v3 also produces significantly enhanced reports, generated from within the software itself. This ability to handle high volume data makes the new version of VenturiOne ideal for analysing data generated from multiple 96-well formats, right up to 384 well plates. Furthermore, its inherent flexibility and simplicity of set-up means it can handle the vast majority of a laboratory’s routine workload.

Commenting on sponsorship of the event, Dr Tracey Long, Marketing Manager at Applied Cytometry, said: “We are proud to support the UK National Stem Cell Network at its annual conference. The popularity of this year’s event is testament to the high quality of research within the UK and our commitment to developing software to push back the boundaries in flow cytometry is in keeping with this”.

Applied Cytometry will be located in the north school throughout the conference.
