Aspectrics Showcases Revolutionary New EP-NIR Technology and Previews New Innovative Biofuels Analyzers at ISA Expo 2007
5 Aug 2007Aspectrics, Inc., the innovator of patented Encoded Photometric Infrared (EP-NIR) and Encoded Photometric Near Infrared (EP-NIR) spectroscopy, will be launching the new Aspectrics range of Biofuels analyzers at ISA Expo 2007.
Aspectrics’ EP-NIR analyzers are designed to meet the demands of scientists working in process, food and beverage, biofuels, ambient air monitoring, stack gas analysis and speciality gases industries. Featuring an ultra fast scanning rate of 100 scans/second and achieving an impressive spectral range of 128 photometric channels, users can monitor their processes in real time. Aspectrics’ new range of Biofuels analyzers will be unveiled on booth #2835 at ISA Expo 2007, Reliant Center, Houston, Texas, October 2-4, 2007.
Using the comprehensive at-line system, Aspectrics EP-NIR 2750i biofuels analyzer has been developed to allow users to carry out biodiesel quality control and analyze biodiesel blend percentages in real time, providing fast and efficient results. The 2750i incorporates the revolutionary Aspectrics EP-NIR technology, the new Aspectrics eCalTransfer capability and an integrated sample interface. Aspectrics’ new eCalTransfer capability allows a calibration carried out on one system to be transferred to another without needing to recalibrate, providing substantial time and cost savings. In addition, the new touch screen LCD interface is easy to operate and displays sample results in real-time.
Also displayed on booth #2835 will be Aspectrics’ Multicomponent EP-NIR 2750 analyzer whose capabilities have recently been extended to perform reliable and accurate quality assurance measurements of biofuels, including the methanol, water and total glycerine content in biodiesel and water content in ethanol. By giving instant pass/fail results, the compact and ruggedly designed analyzer helps manufacturers and buyers to ensure that the quality of their biofuels meet the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) specifications, avoiding extra costs incurred with a second test.
Aspectrics’ At-line packages come complete with a MultiComponent spectrometer, instrument control and data processing software as well as an optimized sampling accessory or method development bench. Encoded Photometric Infrared (EP-IR) Spectroscopy is a breakthrough for the process monitoring industry, providing ultra fast sampling capability (100 Hz) for multi component analysis in a process rugged design to meet the demand for the process monitoring industry.
