The PVS viscosity measuring system from LAUDA offers state of the art PC control and digital metrology for demanding applications in viscosimetry. It features a variable and efficient system module design. This enables flexible extension options and a high degree of automation with maximum evaluation convenience. The modular concept also includes software modules for special applications in addition to the high quality mechanical components. In co-operation with METTLER TOLEDO, LAUDA has developed an efficient automatic weighing and dosing system – an innovative and economic extension to the proven PVS viscosimetry systems.

The LAUDA PVS viscosity measuring system is available in different model and equipment variants depending on the intended application: low-cost, single-station measuring systems with automatic measured value input and evaluation form the basis. These are available either with or without automatic viscosimeter cleaning. In the premium version, the PVS measuring system has up to eight parallel operated, centrally controlled measuring stations with integrated automatic viscosimeter cleaning. The four-station variant, shown, enables automatic sample feeding with mounted sample feeder.

This enables more than one hundred samples to be tested every day at a minimum work effort. This creates new freedom and capacity for other important tasks for laboratory personnel. The sample measurement takes place with maximum reliability and precision. The system also consistently avoids direct contact of the operator with solvents. Neither filling of the samples nor cleaning of the capillaries is done manually. The safety measures of the LAUDA PVS set new standards.
