Bibby Scientific will exhibit some of the newest products from its range of laboratory equipment at Lab Innovations 2013. Appearing for the first time at a UK show will be the Techne Combi-Block, for use with Prime thermal cyclers, and the Jenway Genova Nano spectrophotometer. These will be joined on stand C6 by equipment from Bibby Scientific’s Electrothermal, Stuart, Jenway and Techne brands.

Techne introduced the new Combi-Block for its widely used Prime Thermal Cycler range earlier this year. The Combi-Block holds up to 33 tubes of 02 ml or 0.5 ml volumes, and offers an optional 25°C temperature gradient spread over its 11 columns. The provision of wells of different sizes means that a variety of consumables can be accommodated, making the Combi-Block a practical and convenient solution for laboratories with a range of different cycling requirements.

The Genova Nano is Jenway's first three-in-one spectrophotometer. With the ability to function as a life science, standard or micro-volume instrument, it is ideal for the measurement of DNA, RNA and proteins in volumes as low as 0.5µl, and will detect DNA concentrations down to 2 ng/µl.

“We are very much looking forward to building on the success of last year’s Lab Innovations,” said Simon Cook, UK and Ireland Sales Manager at Bibby Scientific. “With all four of Bibby Scientific’s brands being represented, and our team of experts on call to answer questions and provide information, we are confident that visitors to our stand will find a solution for all their laboratory requirements.”
