BINDER introduces new CO2-incubator at ASCB 46th in San Diego

16 Nov 2006

Absolute sterility is of critical importance in medical laboratories. This is particularly true with tissue culture incubators used for cell cultivation. BINDER’s redesigned inner chamber for the CB-Series now offers even greater precision.

The new inner chamber comes with integrated, smooth-edged shelf supports, which are formed as part of the inner chamber wall in the deep-draw process during manufacture. This eliminates labor-intensive cleaning procedures, since there are no intricate interior fittings. This new feature reduces the potential surface for contamination by 27%. Just as in the previous model, the new inner chamber of the CO2-incubator ensures maximum sterile conditions at 180 ºC (356 ºF), while the Permadry™-System keeps inner walls free of moisture.

So come and see us at the ASCB 46th Annual Meeting in booth #939 Dec. 9-13, 2006, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA

BINDER now has a uniform factory standard for all its test chamber to verify technical data. This uniform standard now incorporates all previous standards for the various equipment series. The basic data for determining measured data in practical applications have been precisely defined, which significantly narrows the range of interpretation possible. This factory standard can be downloaded from the article webpage.
