Biokit has announced the limited release of the BIO-FLASH system, along with eleven BIO-FLASH reagents for use in the Infectious Diseases (ID) field. The system uses magnetic particle separation with flash chemiluminescent detection to deliver exceptional clinical performance.

The BIO-FLASH immunoassay system is a fully automated, random access, multiparametric, benchtop system. It offers immunoassays with high sensitivity and extremely large dynamic ranges. The system is supported by the CE mark registrations granted to all the components involved in the project (instrument, consumables, reagents, calibrators and controls).

The eleven BIO-FLASH ID reagents available represent the first wave to be released for the instrument. There are nine more under development including Syphilis and HIV tests.

The system is simple to use, with self-contained, ready to use, precalibrated reagent cartridges. The system is fast and efficient with continuous sample loading and can process up to 64 tests per hour. The chemiluminescent technology provides accurate and reliable results.
