With the launch of several new ELISAs, Bioo Scientific now offers the broadest range of kits for quinolone residue detection with the best cross reactivity commercially available. A broad range of flouroquinolone residues can be detected using the AuroFlow™ Fluoroquinolone Strip Test Kit for Meat, the AuroFlow™ Fluoroquinolone Strip Test Kit for Milk and the MaxSignal® Fluoroquinolone ELISA Test Kit. These tests are rapid qualitative lateral flow assays designed to detect fluoroquinolone antibiotic residues in meat and milk samples. The strip tests each use a broad-spectrum antibody capable of detecting a range of fluoroquinolone residues, and are designed for rapid field use or reference lab settings, requiring no heaters, centrifuges, or other expensive lab equipment.

Bioo Scientific also manufactures two ELISAs for the detection of fluoroquinolone residues in meat and milk. The MaxSignal® Fluoroquinolone ELISA Kit for detection in meat has a detection limit of 1 ppb, while the MaxSignal® Fluoroquinolone ELISA Kit for detection in honey has a detection limit of 2.5 ppb.

Additionally, Bioo Scientific offers sensitive ELISAs for specific quinolones including kits for the detection of enrofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, flumequine, norfloxacin, nalidixic acid, sarafloxacin, ofloxacin and oxolinic acid. The newest additions to this line of kits for fluoroquinolone residue detection in food and feed samples include the MaxSignal® Difloxacin ELISA Test Kit, the Maxsignal® Ofloxacin ELISA Kit, the MaxSignal® Sarafloxacin ELISA Test Kit and the MaxSignal® Oxolinic Acid ELISA Test Kit.

These kits join Bioo Scientific’s premier line of kits for the detection of veterinary drugs in food and feed samples. These kits are all manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008 (ISO CI#: SARA-2009-CA-0114-A).
