Bioo Scientific’s MaxSignal® MQCA ELISA Test Kit, optimized for the screening of Methyl-3-quinoxaline-2-carboxylic acid (MQCA) in duck, chicken, and pork, is a sensitive and rapid quantitative ELISA.

This ELISA incorporates a low-cost extraction method with high recovery rates to simplify the detection of MQRA residues to detection limits as low as 1 ppb, to deliver highly reproducible, accurate, cost-effective, and easy MQCA analysis for even the most demanding needs.

MQCA is a residue marker for olaquindox, mequindox, and quinocetone; broad spectrum quinoxaline antibiotics which are added to animal feed to increase weight gain in animals. The Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives, the European Commission, and the Chinese government regulatory agencies have all either banned or limited the use of olaquindox in food animal production.

These kits join Bioo Scientific’s premier line of kits for the detection of veterinary drugs in food and feed samples. These kits are all manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008 (ISO CI#: SARA-2009-CA-0114-A).
