Brooks Life Science Systems Introduced at the Inaugural SLAS2012 Conference

Brooks Automation, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of automation, vacuum, and instrumentation solutions for multiple markets, today announced the presence of its Brooks Life Science Systems division at the inaugural Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) Conference in San Diego, CA.

Brooks Life Science Systems is the leading worldwide provider of automation solutions for compound and biological sample storage and management with an installed global base of more than 180 systems, including installations at the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

At the conference, Brooks Life Science Systems showcased the latest solutions in automated storage and its portfolio of products designed to meet the most demanding needs in sample management including its most recent product acquisitions, Celigo® and Plate Auditor™. Celigo is a high throughput, microplate-based, imaging cell cytometer and analysis system. Celigo provides high productivity automated solutions for the analysis, handling and testing of biological and compound samples prior to and following their storage in automated sample management systems. The Brooks Plate Auditor will help Compound Sample Managers analyze the quality of their compounds following storage and prior to the sample’s entry into the high throughput screening phase of the drug discovery process.
