The American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) was formed in 1969 to promote and disseminate knowledge of mass spectrometry and allied topics. Membership includes over 8,500 scientists involved in research and development and they come from academic, industrial and governmental laboratories. Member interests include advancement of techniques and instrumentation in mass spectrometry, as well as fundamental research in chemistry, geology, forensics, biological sciences and physics.

ASMS sponsors the Annual Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics that is attended by more than 6,500 scientists. This year, in St. Louis, approximately 3,000 papers will be presented as posters and talks. Bruker is a proud sponsor of The American Society for Mass Spectrometry and its mission.

Gateway to Discovery:

In keeping with Bruker’s long tradition of innovation and thought leadership in the field of mass spectrometry, they have assembled an international panel of eminent mass spectrometry practitioners who will share their laboratory workflows, experiments, and results in several forums during the annual conference. Topics will cover a wide variety of mass spec applications, from small molecules to biomolecules, to imaging, to metabolomics and proteomics. In addition to the informative scientific panel, Bruker will announce the introduction of several new systems designed to help scientists solve some of their most daunting life science laboratory challenges.
