Cherwell Laboratories, specialists in products for environmental monitoring and the validation of sterilisation processes, will be exhibiting their full range of products at the Aseptic Preparation and Dispensing of Medicines Course (APDM), on 10th and 11th July 2012, at Leeds Trinity University College.

The residential course, jointly organized by the NHS and the University of Leeds, aims to meet the needs of pharmacy staff engaged in the aseptic processing of medicines. It will cover the principles and practice of asepsis, as well as providing an update on knowledge of standards, practices and quality assurance arrangements relating to the aseptic preparation and dispensing of medicines.

Cherwell Laboratories offers a fully integrated range of high quality products for the microbiological monitoring and validation of aseptic processing. This includes the Redipor® range of prepared agar plates, bottled media, broth bags, vials and ampoules; plus the SAS range of microbial air samplers for environmental monitoring. The air sampler range includes portable hand-held units, a compressed air sampling device and an isolator specific unit, all of which provide benefits for specific environmental monitoring purposes, including filling line and clean room monitoring.

For the validation of sterilisation processes, Cherwell also supplies a range of biological indicators and the DataTrace range of temperature, pressure and relative humidity data loggers.

Andrew Barrow, Sales Manager at Cherwell Laboratories, commented: “We are committed in our support of the NHS and all those involved in the aseptic processing of medicines. Exhibiting at the APDM event allows us to showcase our wide range of high-quality products and experts from Cherwell Laboratories will be on hand to advise attendees on how our solutions can help validate and monitor their aseptic processing needs.”
