COGENT MLSII – Rapid Microbial Detection System

The new superior Cogent MLSII (Microbial Luminescence System) provides a rapid alternative to traditional microbiological assessment of Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) and Extended Shelf Life (ESL) products.

Based on ATP bioluminescence technology, the Cogent MLSII allows the release of product over 48 hours sooner than traditional methods, thereby reducing stock holding requirements and in-turn improving cash flow whilst still meeting the demands of your OA programme.

Following sample incubation and a short 27 minute assay time, the Cogen MLSII delivers highly visual on-screen results as they are generated, with no need to wait for all 96-microwell plate results to complete.

The precision, sensitivity, flexibility and reliability of the Cogent MLSII makes it ideally suited as a high throughput microbial detection system for end product screening in the dairy industry, as well as other industries producing sterile products.
