The CytoPAQ™ Instant Cells Kit replaces time consuming and costly cell cultivation. This innovative system, developed by Cytocentrics AG, consists of certified HEK 293 cells stably transfected with hERG (human ether-a-go-go related gene), channel, intracellular and extracellular solution, and Cell Reservoir (optional accessory).

CytoPAQ™ is a validated system in regards to PAQ (Performance, Accuracy and Quality) and lays the foundation for reliable and reproducible data generation.

The Instant Cells are ready to use in less than 15 minutes after thawing. The stably transfected cells are optimized for manual and automated patch clamp and comply with high safety pharmacology standards. Each lot is quality assured: in addition to vitality testing, extensive patch clamp measurements have been performed in which seal rate, current amplitude, percentage of rundown and whole cell rate were elucidated.

Best cell performance is ensured by storing the cells in the Cell Reservoir prior to usage. This bench-top storage device offers the utmost convenience for the user: it preserves the suspended cells in a non-clustered state at high vitality for at least four hours.
