Continuous Online Water Quality Measurement

YSI, a Xylem brand, announced the launch of its new digital based IQ SensorNet 2020 XT at Pittcon 2012. The 2020 XT is a modular solution for online water quality instrumentation designed for easy, efficient, continuous monitoring and control.

The YSI IQ SensorNet 2020 XT online instrument is a digital multiparameter system with modular design for the measurement of dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, ORP, turbidity, conductivity, TSS, NH₄⁺, NO₃^-, COD, BOD, TOC, SAC and temperature. Up to 20 sensors can be connected on one system with the ability to extend the network at any time. The ability to add modules provides an online monitoring and control system that is customizable as the utility grows.

Simple plug and play connections provide an easy method to replace, or add, sensors. Each digital sensor is capable of storing calibration data and being used with various length cables along the network. Additionally, multiple output channels (mA, relays) per instrument are possible. The feature-packed YSI IQ SensorNet 2020 XT allows for easy integration of existing measurement points with mA inputs, digital outputs, wireless transmission, and is powered from a centralized power supply.
