The pE-4000 launches at Neuroscience in San Diego next week and can be seen on the CoolLED booth, number 1016. Interest is already high for this universal fluorescence light-source as the possibility of using an LED light-source which is always compatible with the filters in a user’s microscopes is appreciated.

Lab Managers will recognize that the pE-4000 can be optimized in seconds to match with any individual microscope, thus making operation simple and provide excellent results. Advanced researchers will recognize that the performance they need for their experiments can be satisfied due to the range of functions available. These include optical feedback for even greater control, microsecond switching, analogue control, and the pE-4000’s own function generator which makes the system ideally suited for Optogenetics applications.

The pE-4000 has a manual control pod which makes operation in “White” mode or “Advanced” mode simple and intuitive. Integration under many imaging software packages is established.
