Where two adjoining workplaces are handling different vacuum evaporation or drying processes, quite often each workplace has its own dedicated vacuum system. However, this solution can be both expensive and waste valuable bench space. This is where the Chemistry Vacuum Pumping Unit PC 511 NT provides a significant advantage. A single pumping unit with two independent vacuum ports, it combines two laboratory vacuum systems in one compact solution.

The first vacuum port is controlled by a solenoid valve, actuated by an electronic vacuum controller. The second port has a manual flow control valve. Both valve modules have integrated non-return valves to prevent cross contamination and interference. Therefore, it is now possible to evaporate a low-boiling solvent in a rotary evaporator, whilst simultaneously running a vacuum filtration.

The PC511 has a new Vacuum Controller CVC 3000 which offers many new advanced features and unprecedented ease of use, enabling the target vacuum to be controlled, maintained and adjusted throughout the entire evaporation process with even greater ease.

The PC511 comprises our latest generation NT chemistry vacuum pump, delivering an impressive ultimate vacuum of 7 mbar and therefore capable of handling a wide range of laboratory vacuum applications. It also comes with a high performance exhaust vapour condenser as standard to capture the residual waste solvents. To summarise, the versatile Chemistry Vacuum Pumping Unit PC 511 NT saves space, is simple to use and is friendly to both your budget and the environment.
The unit is also available in PC520 NT configuration with dual solenoid controlled outlets for simultaneous operation with two rotary evaporators.
