30 May 2007

CyBio introduces its new product line, CyBi®-GeneRobots for genomic-related applications. With almost 20 years of experience, CyBio is a recognized leader of high quality, simultaneous pipetting in the pharmaceutical industry. CyBio's products enjoy the highest reputation for precision, reliability and user-friendliness. Proven to fulfill the stringent demands of high throughput drug discovery, the CyBi®-GeneRobots line guarantees precision, reliability and excellent cost-performance-ratio. CyBi®-GeneRobots are 4 optimally designed pipettors and workstations, which can handle simple as well as complex genomic experiments.

The CyBi®-DiluSpro is an 8 channel pipettor, where its main applications include serial dilutions, PCR set-up, PCR clean-up with magnetic beads separation, as well as sequencing set-up and clean-up. The CyBi®-DiluSpro has an extended volume range of 0.5 µL to 250 µL. With the help of the user-friendly CyBio® DiluSpro Studio software, protocols can be quickly programmed and run using the graphical user interface.

The CyBi®-Well vario is a very flexible multi-channel pipettor with 8 different exchangeable 96 or 384 channel pipetting heads over a working volume range from 25 nL up to 250 µL that allow liquid transfers at the highest precision. The CyBi®-Well vario offers easy setup of sophisticated applications in molecular biology and cell handling. A main application area is gene silencing with the RNA interference methods.

The CyBi®-Genomics Workstations M and VM are dedicated workstations providing fast, reliable and robust automation of nucleic acid purification. Whether your application is extracting DNA in a fully-automated mode from whole blood with magnetic beads or purifying PCR products with vacuum procedures for further analysis, the CyBi®-Genomics Workstations M and VM can automate any commercially available nucleic acid purification method designed for 96 and 384-well formats.

The CyBi®-RoboSpense is a highly flexible liquid handling system with 4 or 8 individually addressable liquid handling channels. The pipetting channels have variable spacing from 9 to 40 mm to work with tubes or 96 and 384-well plates. Each channel has an individual liquid level detector. The system can use washable needles, disposable tips or a combination of both. It has an integrated microplate handler that enables the automation of complex automation tasks without the need for additional plate moving tools.
