The ease and speed with which flow cytometry data can be analysed has been vastly improved thanks to Applied Cytometry’s revolutionary VenturiOne™ software launched today on stand 64-65 at ISAC, the International Society for Analytical Cytology Congress 2008 in Budapest. With a simple Office 2007 based interface, the system is also remarkably user-friendly, requiring minimal training before researchers can exploit its full capability.

Faster processing means rare-event and multi-parameter analysis containing more than 10 million events in the data files, can be anlaysed up to 10 times faster, making them part of a routine workflow. VenturiOne’s capabilities also include the intuitive exporting of data for easy insertion into presentations and publications.

Viewing results with multiple parameters is also much simpler since faster processing speeds allows VenturiOne™ to automatically plot every combination of parameters and present these on a preview screen in seconds. By simply selecting, dragging and dropping, graphs and interesting features can be selected for further analysis, such as data comparisons between samples or even DNA analysis.

Furthermore the hierarchical view of plots provides researchers with an instant view of their gating strategy; whilst with the snapshot overlay functionality comparative analysis of single parameter histograms can be performed.

Designed to take advantage of the new generation of 64-bit multi-core processors, VenturiOne™ achieves its remarkable speeds by making maximum use of the available hardware on any PC running Windows Vista or XP.

The safety, accuracy and reliability of your results is assured. The entire VenturiOne™ development process was ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 accredited, demonstrating that it has met the quality requirements that medical device buyers expect. Furthermore, VenturiOne™ has been risk assessed in accordance with ISO 14971:2007 medical device standards.
