Dionex Corporation announces the expansion of the Acclaim® silica-based column family, designed for higher resolution, to optimize analysis efficiencies, accelerate throughput, and save solvent without compromising method robustness or ease of use.

More column formats are now available, packed with 2.2 µm or 3 µm silica particles and with a broad range of column chemistries. These Acclaim columns are ideal for use with Dionex UltiMate® 3000 Rapid Separation LC (RSLC) systems.

The Acclaim RSLC 2.2 µm column offering now includes dimensions with 2.1 mm ID in 30 mm, 50 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm lengths, packed with C18 and PolarAdvantage II (PA2) stationary phases. The Acclaim RSLC C18 columns use high-density monomeric C18 chemistry with exhaustive end-capping.

The Acclaim RSLC PA2 columns feature amide-embedded chemistry with excellent hydrolytic stability (pH 1.5 to 10). The Acclaim 3 µm columns have been expanded to include an even wider range of capabilities with maximum efficiency. This includes the 3 µm Acclaim 120 C18, C8, PolarAdvantage (PA), and PolarAdvantage II (PA2) columns in a 3.0 x 250 mm format. These columns provide the highest plate counts/column and an 800 bar pressure rating; benefits that can be fully exploited by the Dionex UltiMate 3000 RSLC system. Two specialty columns, the Acclaim Explosives and the Acclaim Organic Acid columns, are now available in 3 µm chemistries in varous column formats, including 3.0 x 150 mm.
