Dionex Introduces the AS-DV IC Autosampler

Dionex adds to its ICS Series of ion chromatography systems with the introduction of the new AS-DV compact autosampler.

Made from highly robust, acid- and base-resistant materials, the AS-DV uses very precise mechanics to accurately control dispense speed and volume, resulting in highly reproducible results. The autosampler's random access and sample preparation capabilities provide easily automated sample introduction to the chromatograph. Automated sample preparation applications can be added easily, such as matrix elimination and analyte concentration with an optional 6-port or 10-port valve. New PolyCaps are with 20 μm filters caps and plain caps. The AS-DV holds 50 vials (0.5 mL, 5.0 mL, or a combination of the two sizes) in a carousel.

The AS-DV is fully controlled by Chromeleon® software and is connected via a USB device. Chromeleon control provides high flexibility to select the optimum injection parameters for filling injection loops or loading concentrator columns. New interactive Chromeleon panels help to visualize advanced sample preparation methods, such as matrix elimination and analyte concentration. Time savings are achieved by utilizing the sample overlap capability of the AS-DV and Chromeleon.
The newly designed AS-DV replaces the current AS40 autosampler and will be offered with the ICS-900 through the ICS-3000 systems. It is also compatible with older Dionex IC systems, including the DX-500, DX-600, and ICS-2500. The new AS-DV Autosampler in combination with the ICS-900 or the new ICS 1100/1600 is the cost-effective solution for the water analysis laboratory.
