Dr. J.J. Kirkland to Receive First Annual Uwe D. Neue Award in Separation Science from Waters

Waters Corporation announced today that Dr. J.J. Kirkland, vice president of R&D Technologies, Advanced Materials Technology (Wilmington, DE), will receive the first annual Uwe D. Neue Award in Separation Science at the 39th International Symposium on High- Performance-Liquid-Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HLPC 2013), held this June in Amsterdam.

The award is for Dr. Kirkland’s advancements in chromatography and dedication to separation science. As part of the honor, he will present his research at the symposium.

This is the first Uwe D. Neue Award, honoring late scientist and Waters® Corporate Fellow, Dr. Uwe Neue, by annually recognizing new research in the field of separation science.

The Uwe D. Neue award was created to recognize scientists that have made and continue to make significant contributions to the field of separation science, in honor of the legacy of Dr. Uwe D. Neue.
