ELGA launches a unique pharmaceutical water package unit which includes for the first time production, storage tank and distribution. TRITON can meet the water quality standards of USP and Ph Eur Purified Water and Ph Eur Highly Purified Water.

TRITON is a truly all inclusive product, because it includes in the same compact package, reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation processes, plus 350 litre purified water storage tank and distribution components. TRITON saves you valuable space in your pharmaceutical plant and all but eliminates on-site installation work, everything is already piped and installed.

TRITON is also equipped with an automatic chemical sanitisation sequence, controlled by the integral microprocessor. ELGA is responding to the needs of many pharmaceutical customers, by producing this fully integrated pharmaceutical unit capable of producing storing and distributing a continuous flow of validated pharmaceutical water grade (purified water and highly purified water).

TRITON has a continuous flowrate of 350 litre/hours but it can run periodically up to 500 litre/hours. The unit comprises pre-filter, reverse osmosis, state-of-the-art chemical-free electrodeionisation stack, 350 litre storage tank and ring main booster pump. TRITON has an un-compensated conductivity meter in order to meet the USP chapter and to enable validation of the water quality at the outlet of the system and at the return loop. The system uses VWS’ innovating “i-button” device which protects the system against un-authorised intervention in the TRITON operation and sanitisation process.

TRITON has all of the main features and benefits of large pharmaceutical purified water treatment systems and it is ideally suited to pilot trials, production of clinical trial material, scale-up from research to production or large scale research products. Users can purchase TRITON outright or take advantage of an “All-in-Pack” rental agreement. The Customer simply pays a fixed quarterly payment by direct debit and ELGA provides the water treatment plant and services it. All-in-Pack gives customers the ability to adopt the right technical solution without capital budget constraints, and with the security of knowing that the plant will be properly maintained by a team of fully trained technicians.
