For the first time, at SLAS2016, Lonza will showcase its next-generation Endotoxin Automation Solution using a Tecan® Freedom EVO® robot. (Lonza Booth #1753). Experts will be on hand to demonstrate how the company’s instruments, reagents, and software can be integrated into a robotic platform for an automated workflow solution.

Lonza’s third-generation robotic solution for endotoxin detection

Lonza is proud to announce a new generation of automated endotoxin detection driven by its flagship product, the WinKQCL™ Endotoxin Detection Software. The cornerstone to the success of this new offering is in the software. Lonza has been working on a new feature set to provide flexibility, plus additional features, to further meet the needs of a growing segment of the market interested in automating their endotoxin-testing process. Attendees of the SLAS tradeshow can see Lonza’s robotic solution for endotoxin testing and talk directly to Lonza experts about the innovations in this new WinKQCL™ Software. A few of the highlighted features include:

  • WinKQCL™ Software can generate robotic scripts and adapt to changing sample dilution requirements on the fly
  • Offering a true “walk-away” solution, WinKQCL™ Software can now control every step of the procedure from start to finish.
  • WinKQCL™ Software can import sample test worklists from a sample management system and export the results back out to this same system, preventing transcription errors and saving time over manually entering data

Designed to match the customer’s workflow

Lonza recognizes that the key to success is not just in the product, but in the service and support offered to customers. According to David Herbst, Product Manager for Instruments and Software at Lonza: “Consultation starts with a detailed review of the customer’s current process and providing insight into how it may be improved. This includes identifying potential time savings and reducing manual tasks, such as transcribing data and pipetting samples, to free up valuable time for QC staff to perform other tasks. We understand that each customer is different and we are committed to clearly understanding their unique requirements in order to offer a customized solution to meet each QC laboratory’s specific workflow.”
