This application specific liquid handler is designed to prepare sitting drop or microbatch protein crystallography experiments from a reagent storage plate or tube of pre-prepared screening reagents. In addition, the Flexus Crystal Software provides design and creation of complex custom screens from stock solutions.

The Flexus Crystal is a highly flexible liquid handler with a unique syringeless pumping system that guarantees unsurpassed pipetting accuracy and precision while using various types of liquids, including viscous, volatile and aqueous reagents. The versatile 8 probe Flexi-span pipettors create faster and more flexible liquid transfers with optional liquid level detection to ensure assay integrity. Plates can be moved from on-deck stacking racks using the 270° rotational plate gripper and plate holders help to ensure accurate positioning for protein dispensing. For enhanced automation, additional options are available including nano-dispensing, barcode reading and plate sealing.
