When weighing-in the smallest quantities, the operator has to fully concentrate on the sample. For this reason, it is of special importance that the operator can totally rely on the microbalance functions during microweighing. The new ME36S microbalance from Sartorius is designed for weighing the smallest quantities, such as a substrate. This new microbalance also shows its strength in process applications requiring that the smallest amounts be weighed into heavy or large tare containers, as commonly done in ashing, for instance.

Featuring a readability of 1ìg, with full resolution throughout the entire weighing range up to a 31-g capacity, the ME36S is unequaled, particularly if users place a premium on outstanding metrological specifications. The proven design of separate weighing and control units in the high-resolution ME5 micro- and SE2 ultra-microbalance has been adopted by the ME36S. The reason is that this is the basis for achieving top results in weighing performance and enables particularly user-friendly operation. While these results can be achieved only with an additional draft shield ring inside comparable systems, which often interferes with the weighing sequence, the ME36S delivers fast and reliable results without an interior shield.

Ergonomic operation

To enable the microbalance to adapt to the particular work situation, it is equipped with a flexible draft shield system. Just one touch of a key, either by one finger or the ball of the hand when users are handling a sample on a scoop, is all it takes to continue with a weighing sequence fully automatically and efficiently. The draft shield’s intelligent learning function optimally adapts motorized control of the three door elements to any weighing situation.

A high-contrast display with outstandingly easy-to-read weight values and clear text prompts let the user concentrate fully on handling miniscule samples.

Fully equipped

The ME36S can be effortlessly integrated into existing quality management systems so that the user can focus on the actual weighing process.

A complete software package is standard on the new ME36S microbalance.

For communication, the ME36S provides an RS-232C interface port and an additional printer port.
