GenVault Corporation, the leader in integrated biosample management, today announced the introduction of its “Bank in a Box” promotion aimed at customers interested in evaluating replacing freezers with a room temperature, dry DNA storage system.

“Bank in a Box” features GenVault’s GenPlate® - a multiwell DNA storage plate embedded with aliquots of proven media for the archiving of DNA from a variety of biosample types. Another feature of GenPlate is GenCode, a permanent sample identification system consisting of an oligonucleotide based tag that comigrates with the sample through downstream analysis.

The introductory system comes complete with a pack of 20 GenPlates in any configuration, a limited edition of GenVault’s GenConnect sample management software and one Desktop Archive storage module with capacity for 38,400 aliquots.

As biosample collections grow, the samples and data stored by the “Bank in a Box” can be fully integrated into GenVault’s other storage systems. Upgrading to the Personal or Dynamic Archive systems is as simple as transferring the GenPlate collection to the storage hardware of choice.

Availability

The complete system is available for the introductory price of $1,800. For more information visit the GenVault web-site, telephone or visit us online at the article webpage.
