Gilson Announces the Release of PIPETMAN® G

The release of PIPETMAN® G marks the start of a new family of pipettes and the latest evolution from Gilson. PIPETMAN G is a mechanical, air-displacement pipette that claims the lowest pipetting forces on the market for a mechanical pipette. A redesigned piston assembly system allows ideal comfort in daily pipetting, and aims to significantly reduce the risk of Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI). With minimal forces, PIPETMAN G takes comfort to the next level for even the most intense pipetting routines.

PIPETMAN G looks, performs, and feels like the original PIPETMAN, while offering the robustness and accuracy expected from Gilson PIPETMAN. PIPETMAN G can be used for both corrosive and non-corrosive samples offering two tip ejector styles, plastic and stainless steel. Both styles are equipped with a clip ejector for convenient access to serviceable parts.

PIPETMAN G is available in a full volume range from 0.2µL-10mL in eight models. GLP features include a unique, traceable serial number and a color-coded push-button that corresponds to matching Gilson tip packaging. Like PIPETMAN Classic, PIPETMAN G is fitted with a universal tip holder that allows for a secure fit of most brands of tips, so there is no need to use a dedicated tip brand.
