High-Speed and Portable:
Grant Instruments has been designing general-purpose and industrial data loggers for over 50 years. The easy-to-use, powerful, and flexible Grant Squirrel series are widely used in diagnostics, environmental and general industrial applications around the world. For precise measurements, Squirrel loggers feature high-resolution 24-bit ADCs, with 4, 8, or 16 differential analogue inputs, depending on the model.
The Squirrel family of universal-input dataloggers consists of 3 key models:
- SQ2010 Logger: Low-cost 4-to-8-channel Portable Universal Input Data Logger.
- SQ2020 Series: High-performance universal data loggers packed with powerful features providing flexibility for a wide range of both routine and demanding applications.
- SQ2040 Series: The same powerful features as the Squirrel 2020 series with additional high-speed logging on up to 4 channels and twice as many universal input channels.
Truly Universal Solutions:
Using a Grant Squirrel, each channel can be independently-configured for a variety of input sensors (Thermocouples, Voltage, Current, Resistance etc.) Digital inputs for states, pulse counters, and alarm outputs are also standard, along with internal calculated channels.
A large onboard graphical display makes it easy to perform configuration and operation in the field. With standard USB connection to a PC, full configuration and data viewing is easily accomplished.
Ethernet and WiFi options are available on the SQ2020 and 2040 models, and integration with 3rd-party radio and cellular modems is also possible.
Software Included:
Grant SquirrelView Software is included for configuration, real-time viewing of data, and data file conversion/export. The optional SquirrelView Plus adds reporting and data analysis features.
Using SquirrelView, users can set sample rates from once an hour to 100Hz depending on the model. Full scaling to event-based units and triggered event-based logging is also standard.
