Building on the success of its first Analytical VIP conference, HORIBA Scientific will host its second free-to-attend conference, dedicated to material characterization, life sciences and polymers. The life sciences session will take place on June 30 from 14:00 to 17:30 (CEST).

Five international scientists from academia and industry will share their insights and challenges in biotech, virology, proteins and diagnostics.

Nathalie Vollmer, Market Specialist at HORIBA Scientific, who will be chairing this session said: “The COVID-19 pandemic considerably increased the interest for virology research and life sciences in general, regardless of the technique used. As a leader in scientific instrumentation, with breakthrough solutions in Raman, Fluorescence, Particle Sizing, and SPRi amongst others, it was very important for us at HORIBA to reflect on the current needs for analytical solutions in these fields. By bringing together a number of renowned scientists, we will be offering an overview of applications, dedicated to virus and cell characterization”.
