We’ve all seen it before, fantastic improvements in resolution, but where’s the catch?

Sub 2µm particles that generate huge back pressures, without actually getting close to the theoretical optimum efficiency. Imtakt columns, available from ARC Sciences, use 3µm particles and are packed to deliver the performance promised by much smaller particles. Previously never commercially available, efficiencies of 200,000 Plates/m are routinely achieved by Imtakt on their Cadenza and Unison ranges.

Unique polymeric end capping processes and proprietary hardware are behind this performance, and all this means you can run the columns on standard hardware rated to 6,000psi.

The Cadenza and Unison ranges allow the separation of standard or broad polarity mixtures, with Cadenza CD being the work horse and Unison UK for more polar compounds. There are a wide range of packings including C18, C8, Amino and Phenyl all with the same outstanding performance.

There is also a direct plasma inject version, Cadenza HS and a wide pore analytical material, Cadenza CW.

• Better Resolution
• Faster Runs
• Less Solvent Consumption
• No Special Hardware Requirements
• Exceptional pH stability
• Work with standard as well as Ultra High Pressure Hardware
• Wide pore and direct plasma inject variants
