Introducing The Anachem Flexus Genome

29 Jan 2007

Anachem Flexus is a completely new, modular, automated liquid handling system that brings unique features to handle multiple applications, without user intervention.

Its flexibility enables integration of a vast range of peripheral instruments, such as a vacuum station. This enables complete protocols to be fully automated, saving time and improving efficiency.

The Flexus Genome is a pre-configured unit specifically designed to handle a complete variety of molecular biology applications. Protocols such as nucleic acid extraction, quantitation and normalization, plasmid preparation, PCR reactions, SNP genotyping and sample clean up, can all be fully automated with the Flexus Genome. The system is compatible with all of the most popular molecular biology kits including those from Qiagen, Promega, Invitrogen, Stratagene and Millipore.

The Flexus Genome is supplied as standard with 8 disposable tip probes for zero cross-contamination. A selection of reagent troughs, pipetting and plate stacking decktrays, a gripper, a plate barcode reader and a vacuum station are all included. Extended functionality is offered with additional options such as a 96-pipetting head, plate reader, sealer or shaker, magnetic bead station, chilled reagent rack and 384 well plate holding tray.

The Flexus Genome system includes a tailored software package with automated protocols to get you up and running and generating results as quickly as possible.
