KBF series climatic chambers for constant conditions: precise, rugged, and genuine global players

Exciting new market developments from BINDER!

The KBF series climatic chambers for constant conditions are now firmly established as the leading products on the global market. With the KBF series, BINDER offers a complete ICH-compliant package for stability testing pursuant to ICH-Q1A, as well as photo-stability pursuant to ICH-Q1B, including GLP-compliant data management thanks to its in-house APT-COM® 3 communications software.

BINDER is presenting the new generation KBF series at ACHEMA 2006. Naturally, our company philosophy, “Best conditions for your success,” also guided this present development, because BINDER products essentially stand for quality of life – whether ensuring that foodstuffs are preserved in optimum packaging or that vital medical equipment operates perfectly even under complex climatic conditions. Accordingly, the developers focused primarily on the special needs for global use. As with the preceding series, the most remarkable feature of this new series is a test performance range that far exceeds the required standards, its long-term stand-alone capability, and its compliance with standards. As globalization progresses, there is an increasing need for climatic chambers to deliver the highest precision even when operating in regions with high temperature and humidity. These requirements present special problems. The redesigned KBF series from BINDER will meet even these challenges, however, since the new series can handle ambient temperature up to 32 °C [90 ºF] with absolute reliability. In addition, BINDER has further improved long-term stability and will continue to offer its customers constant test climates in unequalled quality at its usual affordable prices.

The new KBF series units operate at a temperature range of -10°C to 100°C [14 – 212 ºF] (dry) or 10 °C – 90 °C [50 ºF – 194 ºF] (10% - 90% r.H.). This series is available with 240 L usable space from September 2006, with additional versions following soon.
