Greiner Bio-One, internationally leading technology partner for the diagnostics and pharmaceutical industry, together with Boehringer Ingelheim, Biberach, has developed the 384 Deep Well Small Volume™ Microplate for reduced volume losses during sample storage and active substance tests.

With conventional storage plates, during the transfer of liquid from the storage plate to the test plate in pharmacy, research and diagnostics, large residual amounts of liquid are left be-hind and lost. The new 384 Deep Well Small Volume™ Microplate, made of polypropylene, specifically collects residual liquid in the flattened bottom of the truncated conical well and of-fers the user large working volumes with minimal dead volumes. The flat well bottom permits a position-exact aspiration of liquids. The innovative microplate is sealable with standard heat-sealing systems. 384 Deep Well Small Volume™ Microplates are now available from Greiner Bio-One.
