Latest Tool For qPCR Analysis Brings New Functions to Platform and Reaches New Manufacturers

1 Apr 2012

Integromics(R), a market leader in IT solutions provisions for life sciences in the field of genomics and proteomics, announces the launch of its latest tool for qPCR analysis, RealTime StatMiner(R) 4.3 on TIBCO(R) Spotfire(R).

The new version allows users to upload and analyze data from a large range of qPCR vendors, including Applied Biosystems (Life Technologies), Roche, Bio-Rad, Illumina, Qiagen and Fluidigm. This will provide scientists with a new opportunity to have their data easily processed by a top-level and user-friendly tool.

'StatMiner for TIBCO Spotfire is an excellent application, providing scientists with faster and more accurate insights for their real-time PCR data,' said Christian Marcazzo, director life science sales EMEA at TIBCO Spotfire and senior director, life science marketing at Spotfire. 'It is another excellent example from Integromics of the power and flexibility of the TIBCO Spotfire platform to develop analytic applications that are simple and intuitive for scientists to use.'

Integromic's RealTime StatMiner 4.3 product represents a major upgrade in terms of software functionality, with many new features, which were previously only available on the standalone version. TIBCO Spotfire users, including the top pharmas, can now benefit from the best qPCR analytics in their environment representing the powerful synergy between Integromics and TIBCO Spotfire.

The latest version of RealTime StatMiner offers users many new functionalities including: Click and Go(R) automated processing, advanced quality controls, improved interactive visualizations, customized importation capacities, a global normalization method for miRNAs studies, integration with the Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) and the TIBCO Spotfire Webplayer.

This version of RealTime StatMiner for qPCR data analysis on TIBCO Spotfire is a key milestone preceding the release of the OmicsOffice integrative environment on the same Spotfire platform.

‘We now provide scientists with the software for qPCR, microarray and NGS data analysis within the same computational environment and the same purpose of simplicity and reliability,’ said Doctor Sylvain Foissac, genomics product manager at Integromics. ‘This version of RealTime StatMiner on TIBCO Spotfire is also the launchpad we wanted for our new offer of software as a service (SaaS) which we will soon be launching online.’

By widening its range of compatible input formats, this latest version of RealTime StatMiner allows Integromics to reach new partnerships with several manufacturers.
