Light - and Charge Particle Microscopes from Carl Zeiss Microscopy

7 Nov 2011

With the increasing overlap of the customer groups served by Carl Zeiss MicroImaging and Carl Zeiss NTS, Carl Zeiss has created one unified company. The new Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC is North America’s only provider that offers solutions for light, electron and ion microscopy together with an experienced support and service organisation. Visit booth #2809 at the NeuroScience meeting to be the first to see the newly released products and experience the innovative field of correlative microscopy.

New products being launched at the show are as follows:

Newly Expanded ZEN Software
Carl Zeiss proudly announces that its easy-to-use and intuitive ZEN software now controls all light microscopy imaging systems. Experience how one software can streamline your research and training needs.

New Correlative Microscopy
Carl Zeiss has combined the ultraresolution of electron microscopy with the specific labeling capabilities of fluorescence laser scanning confocal microscopy for a turn-key solution to correlative microscopy, called Shuttle & Find.

New ZOOM Microscope
The Axio Zoom.V16 combines the low magnification and wide field of view in our stereomicroscopes with the high numerical aperture and superb image quality of our compound microscopes.

New Inverted Routine Microscope
The Axio Vert.A1 sets a new standard in quality for entry level, inverted microscopes with Hoffman Modulation Contrast, Differential Interference Contrast (DIC), PlasDIC and fluorescence capabilities in one cost effective solution.

Demo The Broad Portfolio

Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope
The ΣIGMA will be shown with correlative microscopy and the new Atlas(TM) for large area imaging and semi-automated 3D array tomography. The ΣIGMA is also compatible with Gatan's 3View(TM) ultramicrotome for in-situ serial-section block face imaging.

Superresolution
The ELYRA is equipped with both SR-SIM and PALM for multicolor, fluorescence imaging of structures smaller than 200 nm.

Multiphoton and Laser Scanning Confocal
The LSM 780 has single molecule sensitivity for the most photosensitive samples. Also see the LSM 700 for exceptional image quality at an entry level price.

Spinning Disk Confocal
Now available on the fixed stage Axio Examiner, try the Cell Observer SD for gentle, long term imaging of cells and embryos.

Structured Illumination
Called the poor man’s confocal, the ApoTome.2 provides flexible imaging for cells and tissues at an economical price.

Research Cameras and Microscope Stands
See our different research microscopes and cameras from the fixed stage Axio Examiner to the inverted microscope, the Axio Observer, and the upright microscope, the Axio Imager 2. Also demo some of our research cameras: the AxioCam MR and AxioCam HR.

Enter to win a Kindle Fire
Carl Zeiss celebrates the Moments that inspire our customers. From the Moment our surgical microscopes enable someone to see to the Moment your research microscope provides the image necessary for publication, our goal is to make these Moments happen. Celebrate your Moment at Neuroscience by taking a photograph in our photobooth. Everyone who takes an image will be entered into a drawing to win one of three Kindle Fires.
