21 Feb 2006Malvern Instruments, a leading supplier of analytical solutions for particle characterization and rheological applications, is a major sponsor of a course exploring the hidden powers of “Thermal-Mechanical-Rheological Techniques”.
Run by InnoPlast Solutions, as part of its “Analytical Sciences: Industrial Problem Solving” series, the course is to be held in Newark, NJ on April 25-26, 2006. It is targeted at professionals involved in analytical services, particularly those responsible for product/process/technology development programmes.
The course instructor is Dr Yash Khanna, an experienced technologist whose 27 year career is credited with over 120 research publications, 21 US patents and numerous awards. His main focus will be on how thermal and rheological testing can be extended into identifying new concepts and problem solving strategies. Day 1 centres on “Getting to know the family of thermal techniques and what they can do for your company”, while Day 2 looks at “Case histories of industrial problem solving with thermal-mechanical-rheological techniques”.
Filling a need for relating the hands-on experience of industrial experts with real-life problems, the course is expected to be popular and early registration is recommended.
