Manufactured from the highest medical grade polypropylene, Micronic 1.40ml round bottom tubes are designed to be an industry-standard solution for many laboratory processes. The tubes promise to provide an affordable way to improve sample storage, handling, screening and logistics. Many laboratories use the 1.40ml tubes for short-term storage or intermediate processes such as sample analysis or homogenization of samples using beads. The round bottom tubes are available in non-coded or alphanumeric coded versions, and can be purchased in bulk, refills or 96-well format racks.

The Micronic 1.40ml round bottom tubes are manufactured and assembled in a certified class 7 cleanroom environment which ensures the tubes exhibit absolute product consistency. Micronic 1.40ml tubes resist many organic solvents (DMSO, methanol, dichloromethane), may be autoclaved clean and can be gamma irradiated without loss of product performance. By maintaining the highest possible hygiene level during the production processes, Micronic manufactured labware is free of any detectable RNase or DNase contamination and the endotoxin level of produced and packaged labware is limited to an acceptable minimum (< 0.01 EU/ml). Periodically, products that Micronic manufactures are tested for detectable RNase / DNase and endotoxin contaminants by an independent organization.
