MIDSCI Introduces a New Colony Counting and Imaging System for White Light and Fluorescent Colonies
16 Oct 2008The new Colony Doc-It™ Imaging Station is a compact colony imaging and counting system designed to capture white light and fluorescent marked colonies in a wide array of samples.
When different light sources are required, the Colony Doc-It™ has selectable LED lighting including epi and transillumination white light, darkfield, and epi blue light. The design also allows the placement and selection of multiple emission filters.
The integrated 12.1 megapixel digital color camera allows the capture of high resolution images down to 0.08mm, while counting and data analysis is performed by the Colony Doc-It™ software provided with the system.
Plates or filters from 33mm-150mm in diameter can be accommodated with the system.
