For over 120 years, Miele Professional has been committed to conducting business with integrity and responsibility. Prioritizing quality, the company is dedicated to addressing challenges such as scarce resources, climate change, biodiversity loss, and supply chain complexity. Miele has developed a sustainability strategy to promote circularity, reduce reliance on raw materials, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and uphold labor and human rights standards in their supply chain.

Sustainability is at the core of Miele's corporate strategy, and it takes its corporate responsibilities seriously and strives to continuously improve, in line with the company philosophy of 'Immer Besser' (Forever Better). To achieve this, Miele has expanded its sustainability strategy with ambitious goals for climate and environmental protection.

The aim is to integrate climate protection, resource conservation, and social responsibility into their operations. All employees at Miele are aligned in this direction, with the Executive Board leading by example, supported by the central sustainability team, various departments at central headquarters, the business units, and sales subsidiaries.

Miele is known for producing long-lasting, high-performance products that prioritize user convenience and environmental friendliness. Following the 'Immer Besser' guideline, Miele is actively working to make its products and packaging more sustainable. The focus is on promoting a circular economy and developing business models that empower customers to live more sustainably.

At production locations, Miele is committed to reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and increasing the use of renewable energy sources. It also upholds environmental protection and human rights standards across the entire value chain, starting from its upstream suppliers.

Achieve natural resource savings with Miele circulation water pumps

  • With heating elements integrated into the circulation pump, the cycle time can be reduced
  • Lower water fill volumes result in shorter heat up times

The Miele PG 8583 model outperforms the G 7883 in water and energy consumption, using 38.6 liters of water and 1.70 kWh compared to the G 7883's 40.0 liters and 2.12 kWh. This results in savings of +4% in water and +25% in energy per cycle. Over a 10-year lifespan and 7,200 cycles, the PG 8583 saves +10,080 liters of water and +3,024 kWh of energy, equating to approximately +$2,967 in water costs and +$877 in energy costs, highlighting its long-term efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Almost $4,000 in utility savings.
