The MININEPHplus™ is a small, stylish semi-automated nephelometer and together with Freelite™ serum free light chain assays (recommended by International Myeloma Working Group guidelines) can be used in diagnosis, prognosis and when monitoring patients with monoclonal gammopathies. The exclusive combination of Freelite and MININEPHplus™ enables laboratories with small Freelite workloads to provide results for this essential assay quickly and easily.

In addition, there is a comprehensive range of specialist protein assays:- IgG, IgA, IgM, IgG1 –IgG4, Rheumatoid Factor, C Reactive Protein, C3, C4, Albumin, Apolipoprotein A1 and B, α-1 Antitrypsin, β2Microglobulin, Anti-Streptolysin O, Caeruloplasmin, Haptoglobin, Microalbumin, Prealbumin, Transferrin, IgG-Low Level (Research Use Only) and C1 Inactivator (Research Use Only).

The MININEPHplus™ is easy to use, with simple on-screen instructions in several languages and assay specific magnetic swipe cards containing pre-programmed calibration curves. Its automatic assay blanking and reagent mixing ensures consistent results and the pre-programmed integrated single button pipette improves precision. An optional hand-held sample barcode scanner plus automatic calculation of sample results gives users confidence in the accuracy of this light and portable analyser.

There is an automatic antigen excess check for Freelite™ assays, a feature often seen only on larger analysers, and small volume free kappa and free lambda kits (30 tests, 2x 15 test vials) allow rapid, cost effective testing for laboratories who are currently sending out samples for Freelite serum free light chain analysis.
