MIRAN SapphIRe Multi-gas Detector added to Rental Fleet

Sophisticated gas monitoring instruments, with the ability to monitor dozens of parameters, are expensive to purchase. However, Ashtead Technology Rentals has invested in the Thermo Electron MIRAN SapphIRe XL Ambient Air Analyser (formerly Foxboro 100E) so that this advanced technology is now available from the company’s rental fleet to even the most modest of budgets.

Ashtead’s Calum Dow believes that his is the only company in the UK offering this instrument for hire, adding “Portable instruments are ideal for the rental market, particularly when they can be deployed in such a wide variety of applications. The MIRAN SapphIRe detects and quantifies almost any organic and many inorganic gases in ventilation studies, leak detection, IAQ assessments, medical air and anaesthetic gases, process maintenance, workplace monitoring for toxic vapours and stack monitoring for regulatory compliance. Ashtead’s investment in gas detection instruments means that our customers are provided with access to the latest technology without the unnecessary cost of capital investments.”

Ashtead claims that the MIRAN SapphIRe is very easy to use, however, a team of technical engineers is available to advise on the best choice of instrument for every application and to provide support during the rental period.
